Dr Claire Buky-Webster, Clinical Psychologist

About Claire

I am an experienced psychologist offering private therapy in South London for those who want to understand themselves more deeply, work through complexity, and move forward with greater clarity.

People often come to see me at points of uncertainty or transition. You may be facing a significant life decision, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or trying to make sense of experiences that continue to have an impact. At times, this includes recognising how earlier experiences, including trauma, may shape how you think, feel, and relate to others in the present.

My approach to therapy is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence. I place particular importance on the quality of the therapeutic relationship, creating a space that is both containing and purposeful. Within this, there is room to reflect carefully, to explore what may feel difficult to approach alone, and to begin to develop a clearer sense of direction.

My background includes extensive work with individuals and families in complex and high-pressure circumstances, including within statutory services supporting children and families. This depth of experience informs a calm, attuned, and psychologically informed way of working.

In addition to therapy, I also undertake Expert Witness Assessments for the Court.
